Why no scrubs

Half of what's on your nose is supposed to be there.

Those grey dots across your nose are mostly sebaceous filaments: normal oil channels every face has. They refill in about 30 days no matter what you do. Squeeze them, scrub them, rip them out with a charcoal strip: you get a satisfying video and a nose that looks the same in a month, usually with bigger pores.

Blackheads are different. A blackhead is a pore that's actually plugged with oil and dead skin, and the plug has oxidized dark at the surface. You don't scrape a plug out. You dissolve it, and you stop the next one forming.

What works

  • Salicylic acid (Pads, Wash). Oil-soluble, so it goes into the pore and breaks the plug down from the inside.
  • A retinoid (Night Shift). Speeds up skin turnover so pores stop plugging in the first place. Slow, boring, and the only thing that fixes whiteheads.
  • Oil control that doesn't wreck your barrier (Day Job). An irritated face makes more oil. Niacinamide keeps it calm.
  • Hydrocolloid (Pull Patches). Pulls loose debris without tearing skin. The one satisfying step that doesn't make things worse.

What we don't sell

  • Scrubs. Grit abrades the surface and does nothing inside the pore.
  • Peel-off masks and charcoal strips. They rip, they enlarge, they come back.
  • Pore vacuums. Bruising with extra steps.
  • Extractor tools. Scarring, in your bathroom, with no training.

If you want the satisfying stuff, buy it somewhere else. If you want the dots gone, this is the system.
